ANTHONY ALABI (Luis) was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. He is a first generation American. Anthony’s father, Tony, is from Lagos, Nigeria and his mother, Edna, was from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Anthony attended the private school, Antonian College Prep High School. There he gained the attention of colleges by excelling in sports (basketball, football, shot-put & discus). He was a four year letterman and earned numerous all-state honors. He then went on to the Naval Academy Prep School before transferring to Texas Christian University. While attending TCU, he earned his bachelors degree in Criminal Justice before later earning a Master’s degree while in the National Football League. In 2005, after a successful football career at TCU, Anthony was drafted by the Miami Dolphins. He then went on to play for the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After a five year stay in the NFL, he retired and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his life long dream of becoming an actor and producer.

SUNKRISH BALA (Mick) is a star in MTV’s upcoming comedy series I JUST WANT MY PANTS BACK. A graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, Sunkrish began working on his television career while still in college. He quickly garnered memorable guest starring roles on GREY’S ANATOMY, MY NAME IS EARL, CSI: NY, BONES, LIE TO ME, HARRY’S LAW, and WILL AND GRACE. Previously, Sunkrish was a series regular on the ABC comedy series NOTES FROM THE UNDERBELLY. Sunkrish can also currently be seen on several episodes of MTV’s freshman comedy AWKWARD.

RAJAN BALA (Executive Producer) was born in Jaffna a culturally rich city on an island just south of India.  He has been part of the Jaffna Hindu College band music group playing Melodica, and followed by Side Drums.  He then move to Canada due to civil war and moved his culture and arts along with him.  He has been participating in dramas and musical programs that carry messages about people’s living condition back in home.  He holds a Bachelors and Masters in Engineering as well as a specialization degree in Psychology. He actively participates in community volunteering and seeks opportunities to produce media to create awareness.

DAVID CRAIG (Alex) is an actor/comedian living in Los Angeles, California. He received his degree from New York’s Marymount Manhattan College before making his way west. Actively working in the comedy world, Craig can be seen on many LA stages; namely Upright Citizens Brigade and IO West. He is also the star and writer of the popular web series SIMPLY PLIMPTON in which he embodies ’80s icon Martha Plimpton.

REENA DUTT (Director/Producer) has directed for numerous theater companies in the Los Angeles and San Francisco area. She recently won a New Filmmaker’s award for her short film, SNAPSHOT!, entered into the Los Angeles: On Location competition. She is currently slated to shoot a short moqumentary about the trials and tribulations of adoption in America. Reena is a co-founder of Off-Chance Productions and co-producer of the award winning web-series THE REAL GIRLS GUIDE TO EVERYTHING ELSE. STACEY MARBREY (Line Producer) cut her teeth as the Line Producer on Sofia Coppola’s first film LICK THE STAR. She also acted in and was the production manager for Cauleen Smith’s Independent Spirit Award-winning film DRYLONGO. Stacey went on to write, produce, and direct UNSPOKEN, a film about perceptions which won the Student SAG Award and the National Black Consortium Community Award. For this she was inducted into the Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame and UNSPOKEN continues to screen on BET. A graduate of San Francisco State University, Stacey is the recipient of the prestigious Davis-Putter Award. As the principal Program Producer and curator for the American Film Institute and Sundance Institute’s cross-cultural initiative, Stacey had the opportunity to develop in tandem with the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). This unprecedented initiative fostered an array of established and emerging artists who advanced dialogue and engaged international audiences through the language of cinema. Stacey is committed and focused on blending both her creative and producing talents and cultivating new ideas which challenge us to explore, connect, and inspire. Stacey will make her feature directorial debut in the spring of 2012.

HEATHER DE MICHELE (Assistant Director) is a co-founder of Tanky Productions and the director of Tanky’s most recent endeavor, LACUNA. She is thrilled to be collaborating with Reena Dutt and Meena Serendib again, after working with them on the award winning and critically acclaimed web-series THE REAL GIRLS GUIDE TO EVERYTHING ELSE. Other directing credits include LIKING MEN, SATI (with Reena Dutt), CRY FOR ME NOW, and PLUTO. Heather has served as 1st AD and 2nd AD on the feature films TROUBLEMAKER and GIRLTRASH, respectively. By day Heather is the Managing Director of the awesome improv theatre and school, The Groundlings.

NATE PENNINGTON (Composer)

MEENA SERENDIB (Miriam/Executive Producer/Writer) is a graduate of UCLA’s School of Theatre. Television credits include BONES, CSI:NY, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, and TRAUMA. Film credits include the Student Academy Award-winning short film FATAKRA and the upcoming horror film APPARITION. She has also appeared in the web series DIARY OF A SINGLE MOM (directed by Robert Townsend), THE REAL GIRLS GUIDE TO EVERYTHING ELSE, and SIMPLY PLIMPTON. A trained Bharatanatyam dancer, Meena trained with the Bay Area’s Smt. Sundara Swaminathan and is a member of the Taal Dance Collective. http://www.meenaserendib.com

STEPHANIE TURNER (Kirsten) began her acting career in Los Angeles at the age of 18. She has acted in numerous films and television shows including MONSTER-IN-LAW (alongside Jane Fonda), the FX series DIRT, CSI: NY, BONES and has appeared in multiple theater productions in the Los Angeles area. Stephanie has played a wide range of roles from a ditzy pop star to an Amish girl. She is currently working on the independent short PAPER CUTS in addition to 3 PUFFS OF GOLD. Stephanie grew up in various US cities, due to her father’s job as a professional football coach. She is also a writer and the created of the blog http://www.footballbrat.com

ROBERT C. WEBB (Director of Photography) is an Emmy Award and 2-time Telly Award winner for cinematography. He completed his film studies at California State University, Long Beach in 1994 and has since photographed numerous short films that have gone on to receive many awards. In 2001, the feature film THE FLIP SIDE, which he shot, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. He went on to shoot the feature film AMERICANO with Joshua Jackson, Dennis Hopper, and Leonor Varela for which he received a Best Cinematography Award in 2005 from the Sidewalk Film Festival. Robert then photographed the Spanish feature film UNDER THE SNOW, which won an Audience Award at the Valladolid Film Festival in Spain. UNDER THE SNOW made its North American premiere at the 2008 Slamdance Film Festival. Robert has recently been working with the music video directing team Artificial Army and has shot videos for such bands as Operator, Obie Trice, Trivium, These Arms Are Snakes, The Willows, Repeater, Manntis, The Sword, One Block Radius, and All Leather. Robert shot Artifical Army’s feature film WRECKLESS EPIC and Dead Meadow’s THREE KINGS. Robert has won awards for his industrial campaign with Lockheed Martin. He has shot commercials for Gonzaga University, Aussie Hair Care Products, Nature Made, and Gain Laundry Detergent. He has photographed online content for Jim Henson Studios & Warner Bros., Cadburry Schwepps, Smashbox, Dove, Pampers, and the multiple site distributed web series THE REAL GIRLS GUIDE TO EVERYTHING ELSE. http://www.robertcwebb.com
